Football and the Rate of Force Development

Make no mistake about it, maximal muscular strength is important for success on the gridiron, however after a certain point, when training football players, developing rate of force becomes significantly more important.

When we discuss our successes with Beast’s Strength and Conditioning for Football Players, it’s the translation, or portability, to on-field football performance we are referring to. That translation is a function of our programming, of which no aspect is perhaps more critical than training the rate of force development – explosive strength.
